Home Inspection Standards of Practice

To ensure our customer receive the best possible inspection, we follow a standard of practice. Please follow the link to "Standards of Practice", standards which all Home Inspectors that belong to InterNACHI® follow by!

The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors – InterNACHI® – is the largest and most trusted home inspector association in the world.  Its members undergo rigorous training to become Certified Professional Inspectors (CPIs)®.  They also follow a Standards of Practice and adhere to a Code of Ethics.

A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential property (as delineated below), performed for a fee, which is designed to identify defects within specific systems and components defined by these Standards that are both observed and deemed material by the inspector.  The scope of work may be modified by the Client and Inspector prior to the inspection process.

  1. The home inspection is based on the observations made on the date of the inspection, and not a prediction of future conditions.

  2. The home inspection will not reveal every issue that exists or ever could exist, but only those material defects observed on the date of the inspection.

We'll buy your Home Guarantee!

We participate in InterNACHI's "Buy Back Guarantee". This means

  • The home must be listed for sale with a licensed real estate agent.

  • The Guarantee excludes homes with material defects not present at the time of the inspection, or not required to be inspected, per InterNACHI's Residential Standards of Practice.

  • The Guarantee will be honored for 90 days after closing.

  • We'll pay you whatever price you paid for the home.
